8 A.M. Sunday Spoken Eucharist
The 8 a.m. Eucharist is held in the chapel. It is a smaller, more intimate service that contains no singing. This service lasts about 40 minutes.
11 A.M. Sunday Sung Eucharist
The 11 a.m. Eucharist is held in the church. It is a larger service, with congregational singing and organ music. Coffee and refreshments are offered following the service. It lasts 60-75 minutes.
6:30 P.M. Wednesday Spoken Eucharist
The 6:30 p.m. Spoken Eucharist is held in the chapel. This service is quiet, with space for prayer and meditation.
Holy Day and National Holiday Services
Epiphany -- The 12 days of Christmas culminate with the arrival of the Three Wise Men, and thus Jesus' physical manifestation to the Gentiles, on the Feast of the Epiphany. 7 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014.
Ash Wednesday -- The season of Lent begins with the traditional imposition of ashes on the forehead. Short, intimate services are offered at 7 a.m. and 12 p.m., with a larger, sung service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014
Palm Sunday : Sunday of the Passion -- The Sunday before Easter commemorates the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem before his crucifixion. A Procession of the Palms around the block is a part of this service. 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014
Maundy Thursday -- Thursday of Holy Week is remembered for the institution of the Lord's Supper (Eucharist) and for the capture of Jesus before his death. An Agape Meal is shared during this serivce. 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014
Good Friday -- Friday of Holy Week is remembered for the trial, crucifixion, and atoning death of Jesus Christ. 7 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014
Holy Saturday -- 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014
Easter Vigil -- Saturday evening of Holy Week the church gathers in joyful anticipation of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 8 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014
Easter Sunday : Sunday of the Resurrection -- 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday, April 20, 2014
Feast of the Ascension -- On the 40th day of Easter, we come together to celebrate the bodily ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven. 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013
Pentecost -- 50 days after Easter we celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church of Christ. 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013
Independance Day -- We gather together to ask a special blessing on our nation, and on all nations, with Eucharist and national hymns. 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 4, 2013
All Souls -- Eucharist is shared and space is provided to offer thanksgiving for those we love but see no longer. 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013
Thanksgiving Day -- The church celebrates all the bounty that God has given us with Eucharist and Brunch. 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 28, 2013
Christmas Eve -- The church comes together to celebrate the birth of the Savior of Humanity. Traditional carols and hymns are played. 10 p.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2013
